The Olive-Inn Sub-Location Community Self Help Group brings together residents of Olive Inn, Zaburi, Baraka, Mustard Seed, Greenpeace, Muiru, Canaan, Eden and the neighbouring villages of Kiamunyi Location. We organise ourselves through Nyumba Kumi and village clusters to keep our neighbourhoods safe, raise our common concerns with one voice, and drive the development of our sub-location.
Our priorities are set by the residents themselves, in our meetings and through your feedback.
Coordinating with our Chiefs, police posts and Nyumba Kumi elders to prevent crime, respond quickly, and keep an accurate record of incidents in the sub-location.
Pressing for repair of the "mulika mwizi" floodlights and new security lighting to keep our estates lit and safe at night.
Advocating for tarmacking, drainage and better access roads across Olive-Inn and the neighbouring estates.
Championing piped water and better sanitation for every household in the sub-location.
Supporting neighbours in need, welfare, and a strong culture of good neighbourliness (ujirani mwema).
Engaging our youth and driving the long-term development of the sub-location.
Following a wave of incidents, residents came together on Sunday, 6th September 2026 at Kiamunyi Secondary School — over 120 attended, alongside our Senior Chief, the OCS and patrol-base officers. If you have suffered or witnessed a security incident, record it with us so the committee can follow up with the administration and police.

Know your Nyumba Kumi elder and village cluster. Report suspicious activity early, and vet domestic workers through your cluster.
